Product Update: Enhanced E57 Point Cloud Export Settings & Official Resource Center

Dear Realsee Users,

Following our previous notice regarding E57 compatibility when importing Galois P4 point clouds into third-party software (such as Autodesk ReCap Pro), we are pleased to announce that our optimized Point Cloud Export pipeline is now officially live!

To ensure seamless integration across diverse third-party CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling workflows, we have upgraded the export settings on the Add-ons > Point Cloud download page:

What’s New in Point Cloud Export:

1. Customizable Embedded Images:
   • You can now choose whether to include embedded images in your E57 export (No images, Panorama, or Cubemap).
   • For projects requiring pure geometric coordinates and lighter file sizes, exporting without embedded images ensures maximum compatibility and faster loading across all platforms.
2. Flexible Panorama Resolutions:
   • When embedding panoramic images, you can now select from multiple resolution tiers: 8K, 16K, and full-resolution 24K (Galois P4).
   • Tip: If your target software experiences decoding bottlenecks or memory constraints with ultra-high-resolution imagery, we recommend selecting 8K or 16K for smooth parsing.
