At Realsee, we’re on a mission to make spatial experiences easier to capture, share, and discover. Today, we’re excited to introduce a native integration that lets you publish Realsee 3D tours directly to Google Street View (GSV) in just a few clicks.
With this release, Realsee users can turn indoor 3D digital twins into fully navigable Street View experiences on Google Maps—no third‑party plugins or manual stitching required.
Why Google Street View Matters for Realsee Users
For many of our customers, Google Maps is the first touchpoint between their physical spaces and potential visitors. By connecting Realsee 3D tours with Google Street View, we help you:
-
Boost local SEO and visibility
Allow prospects to discover your spaces directly through Google Maps and Street View, then click through to your website or booking portal. -
Offer immersive, remote walkthroughs
Enable remote tenants, buyers, and visitors to explore the interior layout, design, and amenities without needing to be onsite. -
Showcase high‑value details
Highlight architecture, interior design, and unique spatial features that static photos can’t fully convey.
This integration is designed for commercial real estate owners, residential property managers, and professional 3D photographers who want their spaces to be both visually compelling and easily discoverable.
What the New Integration Enables
With the Realsee → Google Street View pipeline, you can:
-
Publish 3D tours directly from Realsee Console
Use a native “Google Street View” tab in each project to connect your Google account and submit the tour. -
Align your 3D floor plan with real‑world building footprints
Drag and rotate a top‑down model footprint to match the exact boundaries and entrance of the property on Google Maps. -
Respect scan spot limits and API quotas
Follow recommended guidelines on scan spots per project to keep performance and success rates high. -
Verify the live tour on Google Maps once processing is complete
Check your published 3D walkthrough in Street View and share the link with clients and partners.
How It Works: High‑Level Workflow
The full step‑by‑step guide lives in our Help Center, but the basic workflow looks like this:
-
Open your project in Realsee Console and ensure the tour status is set to Active.
-
Navigate to the Google Street View tab and click Upload to GSV.
-
Enter and confirm the property’s street address.
-
Align the 3D model footprint with the building on Google Maps.
-
Connect your Google account and grant the “Publish on Google Street View” permission.
-
Submit the upload and allow processing time (a typical project with ~50 scan spots takes about 30 minutes).
-
Open the live tour on Google Maps to verify the Street View experience.
