FAQs
How accurate are the drawings?
Geometry is produced to LOD 200. Measured accuracy depends on the capture device: ±10 mm with Galois P4, ±20 mm with Galois M2 — both within the LOA 20 band.
Can I use these for permitting or construction?
They are an accurate as-built base, but because they are scan-derived rather than a field survey, we recommend independent field verification before relying on them for construction, permitting, or as-built records.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is tiered by floor area, from 3–5 business days for smaller spaces up to 7–10 for the largest. Times are per drawing — ordering more than one drawing type multiplies accordingly (e.g. Floor Plan + RCP = ×2).
What formats do I get? .dwg, .dxf, .pdf, and a .ctb plot-style table.
The .dwg also includes a point-cloud reference layer for verification.
If you add schedules (door / window / room), they're also delivered as .xlsx and .csv files.
Does this include MEP / electrical engineering?
No. The Visible Power, Data & Controls add-on shows the locations of visible devices (sockets, switches, panels, etc.) — not conduits, circuits, wiring, or engineering design. MEP engineering and concealed services are out of scope.
What's the difference between the RCP and the Visible Power & Data Controls add-on?
The RCP covers ceiling-mounted items (lights, diffusers, ceiling detectors, extract fans) as part of its base. RCP has no add-ons.
The Floor Plan add-on covers wall- and floor-mounted electrical points.
Should I choose Imperial or Metric?
Pick the system your downstream users work in. Imperial defaults to NCS V7 layer naming (North America); Metric defaults to ISO 13567 (Europe / International). The choice also sets dimension format and sheet sizes.
How is pricing calculated?
By floor-area tier. Each drawing type has a base price per tier; add-ons are priced per tier on top of the Floor Plan; RCP can be bundled with a Floor Plan at a discount.
Why are room names in English / not what I labeled them?
Room names are drawn from the Realsee standard room vocabulary to keep deliverables consistent. Where a space's function can't be determined from the scan, it is labeled "Room".
