Due to changes in global cloud computing and processing costs, we will soon be updating the Realsee Credit billing structure for Gimbal Series, Panoramic Camera, and Mobile Capture projects. This adjustment will help us continue providing stable, high-quality cloud rendering services and an improved user experience. The details are as follows:
I. Key Changes

Generate-to-Activate (1 Credit per Project): When you tap "Generate" in the App to process a project, the system will automatically deduct 1 Credit. Once the project is successfully generated, it will enter "Active" status immediately without requiring manual activation.

Note: Simply tapping "Save" to store data locally without uploading for generation will not incur any charges.

Initial 30-Day Active Period Included: The 1-Credit generation fee includes the project’s active status for the first 30 calendar days. No additional activation fee will be charged during this initial period.

Subsequent Renewals: If a project needs to remain active beyond the first 30 days, the standard logic of 1 Credit per 30-day active period will apply.
II. Scope and Applicability

Applicable Devices: This update applies strictly to Gimbal series (G1/G2), Panoramic Cameras, and Mobile Capture projects.

Please note that our professional-grade hardware series — including the Realsee Galois M2, Galois P4, and Poincaré — will continue using their current Credit policy. For these devices, no Credits are deducted during project generation; Credits are only consumed when maintaining a project’s Active status.

Pano to 3D: The billing logic for this feature is scheduled to align with the new 'Generate-to-Activate' model. Please look for a dedicated announcement regarding the specific timeline and details.

Existing Projects: Projects generated before the effective date will retain their original billing logic and will not be affected by this change.
III. Operational Efficiency & Effective Date

Workflow Improvements: The optimized Generate-to-Activate workflow enables digital twins to become ready for sharing immediately after project generation is completed, creating a faster and more seamless experience.

Credit Balance Reminder: To ensure uninterrupted instant generation and activation, we recommend maintaining a sufficient Realsee Credit balance in your account before capturing and uploading projects.
